I love all sorts of point and shoot gadgets so I thought it was great that you can actually improve those grainy, not quite focused shots I have been known to take in photo emergencies.

Anybody use their cell phone as their primary one shot camera. I'm trying to see if that might work in our family for better spontaneous photo sharing but only if the pictures are worth it?

I dont' know of anyone with a lot of luck with that .... although technology is getting better all the time. Last time I checked (for somebody else) if you take your phone somewhere and have them print the images straight from your phone, you end up with a bunch of thumbnail size prints.

That being said, I did have an aunt send me a file of a cool pic she'd taken on her cell of her kitty in a window. Kitty is silhouetted (sp?) with light coming through window. I sent it off to a photography message board and somebody else worked on it for me, I haven't printed it yet, but I'm hoping it'll look ok .... I'll let you know.

SO - just goes to show that anything is possible, even with lesser technology !!!!
