My 11 yo swollowed her molor tonight at dinner.OK so I know she will most likely live;} I told her I wasn't going to go search for it for the tooth fairy!( she knows the truth anyway). I guess i just want to know if anyone else ever had this happen. honestly, she was chewing -don't know how she didn't feel it.

Poor kid! Yeah, I definitely wouldn't go fishing for that tooth, LOL!

My ds swallowed a tooth last week. His brother knocked it out(it was already loose) when they were playing basketball. The tooth fairy(which he knows is me) actually left him an extra $1.00 because of it.

My dd swallowed a front tooth about two weeks ago. She did while eating lunch. It was there and then just gone. LOL! While I think it was a coincendence but she woke up the next morning with an allergic reaction to something. My dh told the doctor about and she said it would not hurt her. She is 6 though so she believes in the tooth fairy. She wrote a letter explaining what happened and she still got her money.

The first time dd lost a tooth, she swallowed it. She was very upset about it. I think dh tried to fake her out and tell her he found it and it was wrapped in tissue....she's too smart for that though.

:)
