The recent b-day party threads have gotten me thinking ...our Costco membership is up for renewal next month and I'm seriously considering not renewing it. Before we moved we were members of BJ's and I loved it...but now it's too far away. I haven't been thrilled with Costco, especially since they don't carry Pampers. I just don't think I get enough savings out of my membership to make it worthwhile. For those of you who are Sam's Club members- how do you like it? How does it compare to Costco and BJ's? Are the prices lower than at a Super Walmart?

I prefer Sam's over BJ's. We do not have a Costco.
The prices are lower then super walmart. Sam's is actually the best here for produce. The prices are much lower than the grocery store. We go through a lot of fruit & veggies. We also go through 50 pounds of dogfood and 40 pounds of catfood a month. The membership pays for itself with our petfood, meat and produce savings.

We don't have BJ's here. I love Sam's. They do have pampers We figure we pay for our membership in about 1 month of savings. Milk, yougert, shredded cheese, saltines, cereal, gum, TP, napkins, water, and their seasonal products are on our list every month. We have a family of 4 and love to entertain. We only have Sams here, and I love Sams. Like Yvonne said, the produce is great. Ditto the paper products, laundry detergent, etc. And for bulk product, the prices *are* better than Super WalMart.

I love Sams and kindof funny am headed there right now for work. Also to those who love pampers try the Sams Smiles brand same thing cheaper and work just as good. I PROMISE. I used them on Jade and they were great.

Oh yeah, I just recently bought the laundry detergent for HE machines from Sam's. It was extremely inexpensive and I expected to be disappointed. It is great! Big-Big-Big savings there...I do way too much laundry
It is also saving me a bundle on hubby's upcoming birthday party.

No Costco around me, but we do have Sams and BJ's. We had a BJ's membership but didn't renew it. We much prefer Sams Club.

Thank you so much! I'm now excited to join Sam's. We've been going through food lately like crazy- I can't even imagine how much we'll be going through once my three boys are teenagers! I find Super Walmart prices very low compared to the other stores around here so I'm looking forward to saving some money with Sam's. Thanks again!
