Bedazzler help

Moms View Message Board: General Discussion: Archive March 2007: Bedazzler help
By Jacm on Wednesday, March 21, 2007 - 11:06 pm:

Hi, if anyone uses one,my dd and I need help. she got a bedazzler for x-mas. we read instructions and frankly i get better results just doing my own thing. but we are wondering how you determine which depression take which size stud. we have only the standard size that came with it. i think it is the 20. I don't see any markings on the plate like the instructions say. she really would like to use this, but we don't want to keep wasting the studs or messing up the fabrics. I tried to find help/instructions online but ~nada
Thanks for any input!

I have a bedazzler, but I dont' understand your question. Mine are marked. I use the mini one the most. But in general, you want the stud to fit in very tightly and you need to use it on a flat hard surface.

Thanks for responding. I am looking at it right now. Ok , there ARE numbers, but they are kinda in between the depressions.. don't know if 20 refers to the biggest circle on right or smaller one on left. also there is a little tiny arrow off center on the base and I am wondering if you need to line up the dot on the metal plate to the arrow .thanks.

The 20 the smallest one. Mine is an off brand, but looks identical I think. When I look at mine it is like a big stapler, so the white thing, that holds the stud, directly lines up with the circle under it. So when you push it down, the edges of the circle push the back piece inward. Try it with out a stud, and make sure it pushes in, into that circle. That will help you line it up. Hope this helps some.
