I've had a great week! Business coming together....
the walls are painted, carpet is going down today, the tile is in the kitchen. I have been running all over creation purchasing toys.
My prayers are being answered exactly the way I have been wanting. I wanted this really cool ride on train from Peg Perego. It is extreemly expensive for my shoestring budget. It was onsale for only $68 at walmart. It was the last one. My friend bought one at Christmas and it was a great deal at $99. She was going to return it due to her cash flow. I told her I would buy it if I got my business. She couldn't keep from opening the box and now her kid loves it. So I did not buy it from her. And here I am with the same thing for LESS MONEY!
I've been praying for a big playhouse. And I am getting one today! It is only $60 I have to drive about 1 hour away to get it, but it is worth it. It is even the playhouse I had in my brain when I prayed.
I have been wanting (and really not thinking I would ever get this) the Step2 Roller Coaster. I LOVE THIS TOY! It is so fun and it will be a real draw for the kids making my playroom a more popular choice than the other playrooms near by. And lo and behold, it is posted on a local classified. I just happened to check it before heading out on yard sale shopping. I was the first to respond and get it! It was just by God's hand that this happened. It had nothing to do with luck.
I had to drive really far to get it, but I was ready to do whatever. I had two other items in that city I was going to pick up. So after talking to the coaster lady, I was going to call my other two places to see where we could meet so I wouldn't have to drive all over looking. The first person I called said "are you the lady who is getting the coaster?" My play yard fence was also at the same house as the coaster! I called two different phone numbers and it was the same lady, LOL. She was holding the gate for her sister. Then the other lady I was unable to meet while there, but she said she travels close to me a couple times a week and would bring them to me! I was so happy!
I HAVE EVERYTHING I WANTED for my play room side of the store. And I am in budget!!!!
So now I am hunting for mommy side furniture. I can't wait! I have zero decorating sense, so only God will be making sure I find the right stuff. I really have to hold on to my faith that He will lead me to the proper items that will match and look pretty AND be in budget.
I can't wait! I might be ready to open in a week or two.

Isn't it such an AMAZING feeling,when you know that the God that created our universe and everything in it,also answered your own personal prayers !! That's even more exciting than what we prayed for, the answered prayer is the icing on the cake!! You are going to do exceptionally well,Dana !!

Thanks Wandilu! You mesg meant so much to me. Quite honestly, God is my anchor in forming my business. As I get deeper into setting things up, the fear sets in. It is thru my faith in Christ and our Lord that I even have dared to take this step. It is my goal to allow my faith to be obvious to the other mothers who come thru my door...because motherhood is so difficult without this anchor. There have been so many times as a mother and wife that I wonder how the next day will happen while keeping my sanity. My hardest hurdle to jump in reaching this goal is speaking up even at the risk of putting off others who do not share this faith.
Even making this post to you, I questioned. But I really felt the need to share my deeper thoughts of why I have chosen to start my playroom.
And yes, it is so inspiring to see your specific prayers being answered so clearly.
