Yep! More snow!!! It's not supposed to be much, but it's enough to close the school the one mom of the 9mo daycare boy works at so I'm happy! lol He's a good kid--just high maintenance. I'll get pics when it's light out. At least it's not blowing this time.

LOL cat! It rained so much here yesterday we had to check to see if we were going to have school closures, what a difference 1000 miles makes!

I have recently started babysitting 2 days a week for a friend. I understand high maintenance! I have forgotten what it was like to have a little one. My guy is only 6-9 weeks old. (he was premie, so there is a real age and an anjusted age thing..lol)

Its 50 out and pouring rain here in PA. Very mild winter we have had here. If this weather keeps up our kids will be out of school very early this year without any snow days.
Get your shovel ready Cat:)

By Cat on Friday, January 5, 2007 - 08:42 am:

It was in the 50's yesterday. They originally said 2-4", but have said they may have to revise that since the meteorologist said he went outside and they've already got 2" at the news station. We've already got about an 8" drift at the end of our driveway. I guess the wind is blowing a little bit. Nothing like last week when it was blowing so hard it kept us up at night (being so loud). We'll see what we get. :)

Cat we haven't gotten any measurable snow this year, Ohio.. It has been warm with lots of rain and we even had thunder a few nights ago. It is crazy, usually by now we have had several good snows. I can't decide whether to be happy about it or worried over what is to come. Like, when we finally start getting snow it will slam us hard.

***News is calling for rain all day, with possible thunder storms***

Try to enjoy your, Snow Day.. And be safe..

I am in Ohio too Bobbie and we have had nothing except for flurries once or twice. Nothing measurable at all. I am about a hour and a half south of Cleveland really close to Rt 77. I WANT some of that snow!!!!

By Brandy on Friday, January 5, 2007 - 10:23 am:

it's in the 50's here in my neck of the woods in indiana and rainy

Nothing here either in Michigan. Rain, rain, rain. And right now it is 49 at 10:30am. No snow at all to amount to anything so far this season. When we do finally get hit I bet we get hit hard and fast. I am ready for some snow this weather makes me keep thinking spring is coming.

By Debbie on Friday, January 5, 2007 - 12:00 pm:

Wow! You sure have gotten a lot of snow this winter!!

By Eve on Friday, January 5, 2007 - 04:32 pm:

Can you please some my way? LOL My DD is praying every night for snow! She even asks me if the rotisserie chicken has a wish bone like a turkey, so she can wish for snow! LOL Isn't January and tomorrow is supposed to be near 60 degrees! Enjoy the white stuff!:)

By Amecmom on Friday, January 5, 2007 - 07:06 pm:

We're expecting 70's in New York. Not a sign of the white stuff :( My son asks for snow every night, too, Eve. It must be a kindergarten thing.

I can't believe you are getting more! Send some our way!

By Dawnk777 on Saturday, January 6, 2007 - 08:35 am:

We got up to 51 yesterday! In November, we had 4 inches of snow and at the beginning of December we had 8 inches of snow. Now we have nothing, and nothing predicted over the next week, although, it is trending colder, than it has been.

By Karen~admin on Saturday, January 6, 2007 - 10:58 am:

Obviously we won't get snow here - VERY rare occurance - our weather is rainy and the temps *just* warm enough for the AC, mainly due to the humidity. I would love a blast of COLD weather right now.

By Pamt on Saturday, January 6, 2007 - 11:30 am:

Have fun in your snow! I'm jealous, but will hopefully have some snow to play in next year.

By Ginny~moderator on Saturday, January 6, 2007 - 06:16 pm:

It got up to 72 in the Philadelphia area today - I don't know yet if we broke a record for this day. It is 65 right now. When I went out at 7:00 a.m., it felt like a warm April day (and muggy).
