Everyone here is always so helpful - here's mine...

Last summer while on a trip to Orlando, we went snorkeling in St. Pete & in Panama City. We loved it. The kids and I are hooked. DH had been before and was already hooked.

My question is...has anyone been snorkeling & what places would you recommend? We would prefer someplace where the kids can still touch bottom. We need to stay within the continental 48 states this year.

We are trying to plan our summer vacation this year and are looking at several options.

We have snorkeled in many places in Florida.
Key Largo is very nice. Any of the Keys are great and there are several spots with sand bars so you can be near "land".
My favorite place is Grand Cayman though.

We have a snorkeling 1/2 day adventure planned for when we are in Nassau. At Pearl Island with the fish and Sting Rays. We are both so excited about this I cannot wait.

We have neither one ever been so this will be an experience for both of us.
