By Kate on Monday, November 13, 2006 - 10:04 pm:

Gosh, I turned 10 in 1980 and I barely did any of these things!! Am I too old?

By Missbookworm on Monday, November 13, 2006 - 10:17 pm:

OMG! I remember so much of this :) I turned 6 in 1980.

My partner just sat through me remembering all this and laughing and nodding and saying OMG! I remember that.

By Crystal915 on Monday, November 13, 2006 - 10:20 pm:

Actually, most of that list is early to mid-nineties. I was born in 1982, and I remember most of those from my elementary school-middle school years. And yes, I'm still singing Shot Through The Heart in my head!!!

By Tink on Monday, November 13, 2006 - 10:59 pm:

I was born in '77 and I did all of these in elementary school, which would have ended in '89. I think the big crazes of the early 90's were grunge (Pearl Jam, U2, Stone Temple Pilots and flannel shirts and Doc Martens) and hip-hop (like TLC, Snoop Dogg, OPP and colored jeans, big ghetto hoops and "stuffed" sneakers) or at least that's how it was around here.

By Jtsmom on Monday, November 13, 2006 - 11:16 pm:

I remember all of this! I turned 7 in 1980. I loved the '80s!!

By Kaye on Tuesday, November 14, 2006 - 04:39 am:

I just think it is funny to see so much of it coming back!

And hot doogie has come out....what a world!

By Karen~admin on Tuesday, November 14, 2006 - 07:18 am:

ROFL Adena. Someone posted this a few years ago, and all I have to say is.......

54. You know all the words to Bon Jovi - SHOT THROUGH THE HEART.

55. You just sang those words to yourself.

LOL!!!

All my kids were 80's kids so I lived through all of that. And I *still* love 80's music!

By Dawnk777 on Tuesday, November 14, 2006 - 07:34 am:

Kate, I was 20, in 1980, so none of this stuff was part of my childhood! LOL!

Although, even as a child of the 60's, my sisters and I played with skip-its.

By Brooke327 on Tuesday, November 14, 2006 - 07:46 am:

I love the 80's LOL. I remember alot of this tight rolled jeans LOL. Thanks for posting this it was a blast from the past.

By Bellajoe on Tuesday, November 14, 2006 - 09:04 am:

I think i have done all but 1 of these things.

I've seen this before, but it is always so much fun to take that trip down memory lane.

Do you watch "I love the 80's" on VH1 ? My dh and I just sit there and crack up!

By Luvn29 on Tuesday, November 14, 2006 - 06:27 pm:

I love that show! My dh and I laugh so hard watching that. One of the best shows that they had several months ago was the 100 top toys! It was a series of about five shows of the best toys of all time. We LOVED watching that, and had forgotten so many of them. The kids really enjoyed seeing what we had played with! It was so much fun!

By Reds9298 on Tuesday, November 14, 2006 - 08:20 pm:

Ditto Karen for #54 and #55. ROFLMAO!!!!!!!!! DH and I both started singing the song immediately. LOL!!

By Hol on Tuesday, November 14, 2006 - 11:03 pm:

How do I make an attachment of it and email it to my DD? She was born in 1972 and would get a kick out of it.

By Imamommyx4 on Wednesday, November 15, 2006 - 12:26 am:

I went to Pharmacy school in 82 so most of this wasn't a part of my childhood. Some of the things on the list are pre-80's, too. Some of it I just remember because of the kids.

But one thing, NEVER did I have a mullet and I don't think I EVER thought a mullet looked good on anybody. LOL But Farrah Fawcet feathered wings..that's another story. ROFL

By Karen~admin on Wednesday, November 15, 2006 - 07:16 am:

ROFL Debbie! My oldest DS had a mullet in the 80's when he was in high school. I still have the school pic hanging on the wall. Everyone makes fun and laughs about his mullet when they see it.

I remember all of those things, and did/wore/said many of those things, having 2 kids born in the 70's and 2 kids born in the 80's. We got the *whole* experience. LOL

By Kaye on Wednesday, November 15, 2006 - 08:00 am:

Hol, don't make an attachment. Just open a new email, come to this page, high light the text, right click and click copy, and the paste into a new email.

By Conni on Wednesday, November 15, 2006 - 09:41 am:

I always love reading these. :)

I was born in '72... I was a teen in the 80's. I loved the 70's,80's and 90's. I miss many of the TV shows from those yrs.

Whitesnake, Bon Jovi, Winger, etc... Oh my, I was sure to marry someone from those groups (and many other groups)... And remember when Michael Jackson was actually kind of cool and somewhat normal? And Madonna? Oh gosh I was a material girl fer sure...

I sooo had the hot's for a guy that wore parachute pants all the time.

Now I am enjoying the 2000's ;) er, whatever you call'em.

By Tonya on Wednesday, November 15, 2006 - 09:58 am:

You know what I have to laugh at is #15 was my favorite day of the week at school. I loved Oregon trail.

And you know ladies I can remember 95% of all of these. And they were all something I did or was into.

By Hol on Wednesday, November 15, 2006 - 11:46 am:

Thanks, Kaye. It will bring back a lot of memories for her.

Karen, my oldest DS had a mullet, too, and I too have the school picture hanging in my bedroom. He was thirteen (1989). LOL!

By Hol on Wednesday, November 15, 2006 - 11:54 am:
