St. John

Have any of you ever been to St. John before? We plan on going on a vacation next summer when Scott returns and I'm doing some research on less touristy areas. It gives me sanity to know that there's a light at the end of this tunnel!

BTW, he comes home this coming Thursday or Friday!!! (The army is so ambiguous as to when he's arriving...I'm such a Type-A planner...it's driving me nuts!!!!!!!)

Note: He's coming home for 2 weeks, but we're in the home stretch! He's been gone for 11 months and he has until next April when he returns for good.

Haven't been to St. John, but I've been to Tortola, St. Maarten, St. Thomas and a few others....most of the Caribbean ports are beautiful and fun to visit. If you like tropical places, you can't go wrong. I've only visited the Caribbean on cruises - I'd LOVE to do a land vacation at one of the ports so I could really get to know the island and the people.

I'll bet you are really excited!!

It's a beautiful place. We love the snorkeling there, and think there and Grand Cayman are the best in the Caribbean. The resort you're looking at is beautiful. St John is a great place to relax and reconnect. It is very quiet there between the cruise ship tours from St Thomas. Have a complete BALL!!!!!!!
