Our computer just went absolutely crazy on us about a month ago .It had so many viruses, that as soon as dh would get rid of one, many more would take it's place.Dh worked on it for several days, and then a good friend that works on computers for a living, worked on it for two days.It actually appeared to be fixed, and then it went goofy again. We now have it in a "computer hospital" :) but the guy says everytime he cleans one thing off, more takes it's place. So,he's going to do something tommorrow and says that should fix it ( I would tell you what he's going to do,but it went in one of my ears and out the other!!!). I have over 3000 pictures on it,and I'm sooooo afraid something is going to happen to them. He's going to download them onto a disc. So for now we are using a "dinosaur" that we borrowed from a friend. My dh liked to have NEVER got this thing to go on line !!! So,we should find out tommorrow if it can be fixed. We had two or more virus protector"s on it,but we've been told about some more even better ones.Do any of yall know of some tried and true virus protectors, also ? TIA :)

Wanda - I'm sorry about your computer. We sure do miss them when they get "sick", don't we? And I am just blown away by the TIME that people put into evil purposes, like inventing viruses. It takes BRAINS to invent those things. Just think if they put that brainpower to GOOD use! And what do they get out of messing up someone's computer? I don't understand it.

I am not a computer expert by any means, so I don't know what to recommend. We have Norton Internet Security and Norton Go Back. My DS Shawn has McAfee Security Suite on his laptop. They aren't expensive at all, and so far, so good.

I hope that they can make your computer "all better". :) Do be careful about opening email that you don't recognize, or taking surveys on line. There is frequently bad stuff attached to those.
