I dropped my camera at the race yesterday and broke it. I need to purchase a new camera this week since I take so many pictures.
It has to have no less than 5 MGP and needs Optical Zoom as well.

Any suggestions???

I really don't want to spend more than $200 .
The one that broke was a Kodak Easy Share DX4530. I really liked that camera. It was a bit big to carry around but other than that I thought it took great pictures.

You can't go wrong with a Canon Powershot, I'm sure you can find one in your price range:

I just went and got the Canon Powershot SD600. Got great reviews and I love that it's small enought for me to throw in my purse or pocket.

That's great, I'm sure you'll love, I'm on my second Powershot, the first one I had was small like yours and Matthew dropped it one to many times and it went to camera heaven, now I have the S2IS and although it's a much bigger camera I love, love, love it.

I do LOVE it! I just downloaded the picture I took onto the computer and they are great. It also takes wonderful video.
Thank you for the suggestion. It was a bit more than I wanted to spend but I think it is going to be well worth it in the end.
