I am in Romulus by the airport and it is snowing so hard and such big flakes right now I can barely see across the street. I went outside and caught them in my mouth. I called the sitter and had her take Jade outside to catch some.

Isn't it crazy, way too early!!!!! I am so not looking forward to snow. It was just raining when I got on 94 from Middlebelt but then when I was just about at work it started snowing.

Our forecast said we might get some light flurries today, but it's pretty bright and sunny right now. It sure is cool, though! I am SO not ready for winter!!

That's just not right!!!!! I HATE ice, snow, cold, slush!!!!! ARGGGGGGG just thinking about it is making me cold! (How have I lived in New England all my life, I'll never know!)

We had a little snow squall this morning, and again, while I was at my lunch job, we had some more snowflakes, here in WI!

My ds and I were sitting at the kitchen table and i looked up and out the window....yep we had a little bit of flurries. My ds had to look really hard to see them, but they were there. It is mighty cold outside too. I substituted as a playground aide at the school, it was freezing and there were kids there with light jackets and a few even had shorts on! Hello! These parents really need to check the weather before they send their kids off to school. You'd think they would know that by now, we live in NE Ohio, it's cold here.

It is way to early for the snow. I hope it holds off till at least late November before it snows and accumulates!

Patti, the same thing happens here in WI! I don't know how some parents can be so oblivious to weather changes! One kindergarten girl only had a spring jacket on today! With as many times as a weather report is given, whether on TV, the radio, or on the internet, or just simply stepping outside, I can't believe some kids come dressed the way they do!

I wish I were there. :) I love snow!

My mom said she'd gotten a few inches when I talked to her yesterday afternoon. We got a dusting a couple weeks ago and then again this past Monday. None of it stayed, though. We'll get our share. :) There's snow on the mountains. :)

Also in Buffalo, NY. I heard on KYW this morning that everyone is forbidden to leave their homes except for emergencies - it is a serious snow storm (with thunder and lightening)with lots of wind, trees blown down, wires down, etc.
From a local broadcaster: "More than 100,000 homes lost power in the lake-effect storm that took down numerous large trees, which also damaged homes and vehicles, the Buffalo News reported.
As much as 24 inches of snow hit some areas. It fell at up to 4 inches an hour overnight, WGRZ-TV reported. "

My sister lives outside Rochester, and while they didn't get snow, they heard a lot about it on TV. I guess people were spinning out off the thruway. Scary!!

By Hol on Sunday, October 15, 2006 - 10:57 pm:

What craziness, huh? Just weeks ago we were complaining about the HEAT!! :)

By Marcia on Sunday, October 15, 2006 - 11:03 pm:

Holly, that's exactly why I never complain about the heat!! I know what's right around the corner, and I hate it!
