Home Makeover in Dundee

My kids and I went today, to watch them dig the basement, for the new house! We saw, according to my kids, Michael, Ed, Preston, and Paige! I'm not quite as up, on who everyone is!

The reveal is on Friday, but we won't have time to get over there, then. It was exciting enough being there today. Sarah took pictures, and I'll post the Flickr link, when she gets them uploaded. Apparently, the show is going to be broadcast on 11/26!

We live in eastern Sheboygan county. This was JUST over the county line, in Fond Du Lac county. It took us about 50 minutes to drive out there, mostly because you have to take so many back roads, and they are narrow, so I wasn't driving like I was on a freeway.

On the other hand, the Kettle Moraine State Forest was really pretty and we had a crystal clear fall day today! There was a pretty good crowd out there watching!

I think sometime, after the fervor dies down, we'll have to go drive past, to see the house! LOL!

Our son used to live in Fond Du Lac. It's a pretty town. He was the manager of the Cracker Barrel. I'll bet it was an exciting day.

It was an exciting day and according to the news this morning, they are an hour ahead of schedule. Despite a gorgeous day, yesterday, it rained HARD all night, so that is amazing!

I saw lightning on Jasmine's last trip outside last night and I saw lightning, like crazy, on her first trip out this morning! I think it rained all night. Parts of my area saw 3-5 inches of rain, and I slept through the whole thing.

So did you hear they were in town on the news? That's so cool, it's to bad you won't see the big reveal! I'm sure it will be crazy crowded there on Friday!

My kids just love that show. I know if they came to fix a house anywhere near us, my kids would make me take them! LOL

too bad you didn't see TY!

Sarah saw it on the newspaper website and sent the link to me!

I'm happy that we at least got to see some of the work, anyway. Friday will be insane!
