My nephew is truning 6 in a few weeks and I need to get him a gift. My sister told me he needs some new computer games because all the ones that he has are too young for him. He is VERY computer literate and loves those kinds of games. He is extrememly smart also. I need something that will challenge him but not be too hard. He likes Batman, Spidermand and the movie cars. Does anyone have any suggestions on a good non-violent (or as little violence as possible) PC game for a boy his age? I am at a total loss since I have 2 DDs that are a few years older than him. All suggestions are apreciated.

What about a tycoon game. They have zoo tycoon, school tycoon, etc. You build a zoo and make it run. Takes some reading skills, but my kids love them.

My kids have the roller coaster tycoon game and one called Sea World tycoon. They love them both. I think my daughter has enjoyed the roller coaster tycoon games more than any of them. But these may be too difficult for him to do them on his own.

Also, they have a computer game out for the movie Cars that you might want to check out. It's probably for his age level on up.

One game my kids love and have for a long time is the Dogz game. They have it for their gameboys now, but they first played it on the computer. You get to adopt different dogs (or cats) and you have different rooms you can set up and you feed them and play with them and can dress them up and they interact with you and everything. I know this one wouldn't be too challenging for him, it's just a matter of whether he would like something like that. My son is six, going on seven, and he loves it still. And he first played it when he was only four or so.

I know there is also a Madagascar (the movie) computer game, and probably any other big movie such as Chicken Little, etc.

That's about all I can think of right now...

My kids always loved the Zoombini games. They are rated for kids 8 and up, but may very well be good for him since he is bright and good with the computer.

Reader Rabbit games are good, so are the Arthur ones if he likes Arthur. I SPY too. I can't think of any more but my kids loved these games when they were younger.
