I have been having terrible headaches for the last few months or longer and they just never want to go away. And now I am having what seems like a panic/anxiety attack and they are awful. My heart races and my hands shake and I feel severe nausea and light headness.

I hate to say this but pray with me ladies that they find something wrong with me so that they can fix it. I am so tired of being tired and having these severe migraines. I just want them to make them go away.

Well I am back at work. He gave me a new script to help with the headaches plus ordered me a CT scan for next week. I also have to pickup a heart monitor that I have to wear on my hip for 24hrs. I have to call to set up picking that up. He wants me to wear this to see about my panic attacks.

So for now I know nothing more and I will start the meds tonight and hopefully they help. I took a vicadin last night to help the headache and help me sleep and it did nothing. So there has to be something wrong when a major pain pill does nothing for my headache.

I am glad you got some help from the dr. I have migraines, and Vicadon did not help with my headaches. I take Imitrex now for Migraines, and all I can say they are sure a life saver. The headache is gone in less then 2 hrs, instead of 2 days.

Try not to worry too much. My dh can pop vicadin like candy and it does nothing for him. I'll keep you in my thoughts and prayers. Let us know next week.

I just went through that last week Tonya. Lost my vision for a couple of hours in one eye, extreme dizziness and weakness, then the headache came after my vision returned. Spent the day in the ER, had a head CT, saw an opthamologist to rule out detached retina and glaucoma, and then had carotid ultrasounds. They told me it was a migraine, and I've been having lots of headaches recently too. Stress can cause them. And as for nothing touching the headache pain, that CAN be a migraine. Nothing helped with mine either. Hope you find out what's going on.
