This past Saturday we went to test drive mini vans and we took the leap and bought one! We got a Honda Odyssey.(The EX-L??Not sure.) I absolutely love it! It's been so nice getting the kids in and out of it. We just had a DVD player put in yesterday and DD is thrilled. DH took the kids for me last night and they went to McDonalds for dinner and ate in the van while watching a movie. LOL

I never thought I would be so happy with a mini van! LOL I never understood the excitement other Mom's had. Now, I do!! I just had to share the news. :)

WELCOME to the Club! :)

I saw Eve's new wheels the other day. Very nice!

You will love the DVD player, too! It's a God send with the kids. We only use ours for long trips so that it doesn't lose it's magic.

That's wonderful! I love my mini-van although it doesn't have a DVD player.

Congrats on your new van! We're an SUV family. We only have one right now, but did have two until a couple years ago. I don't see us ever owning a van (well, maybe a passenger van for my business someday!). Enjoy! :)

We love our Odyssey!!! Infact we love it so much that we are selling our 2005 and we are going to get a 2006 or 2007 with DVD.

You are going to love it Eve...congratulations!

Odesseys are so nice! I wanted one really bad when we had dd. But my sister got one, and my brother got one, (which I was so jealous of) but dh REFUSES to own a minivan for some reason. I think it would be so nice for long drives.

We only have 2 kids, so my cool little Jetta works for me too!

What color did you get?

Thanks, everyone! Yes, we were pretty much against mini vans too. But, packing up Mason into the car and trying to get Sydney to squeeze under his car seat to get out of the same door was starting to get to me. So, we test drove some SUV's and I still chose the van.

It has the auto slide doors and a sun roof and some nice features that makes it feel fun to drive. I think it handles really well and I'm just in love! I'll try to post some photos. My camera battery died and I have yet to change it. LOL The color is hard to explain. I think they call is a slate green. It's sort of a light-greyish green with a hint of blue.

Baby crying. I'll try to post photos later.:)

Congrats!! They are wonderful for getting small children and infants in and out of!! We bought one when Blake was a baby. After he moved into a booster seat and my teens were running out of leg room we got a diff vehicle. (i think the newer vans actually have more leg room then the one we had!)

I love the auto slide doors when I am working the car rider line at school! LOL I just have too stand there and say 'Good Morning', don't even have too open the door. ;)

ENJOY!!!! :) And of course we would love too see pic's when you have time.

I don't think we are ever going to be a minivan family! LOL! Of course, when I was a kid, I thought a station wagon would be cool. My parents never got one of those, either!
