Anyone Used Banana Boat Continuous Spray Sunscreen?

Moms View Message Board: General Discussion: Archive May 2006: Anyone Used Banana Boat Continuous Spray Sunscreen?

I saw this advertised the other day and it sprays out like an aerosol can would. Last year I bought a spray but it was not aerosol and it just gooped out and got clogged. The ads SHOW this new stuff spraying on just like spray paint, but I remain skeptical....anyone out there familiar with it?

Hve it and LOVE it! Sprays just like paint!

I'm not sure it was Banana Boat, but I used the stuff in the Blue can that sprayed out like an aerosol, and it worked wonderfully!!! I will use the same thing this year. It was so much better than having to rub it in, and the kids were so much happier. And none of us burned at the beach with it, and my husband burns very easily.

I definitely recommend the kind that spray that way. Our can never clogged, and it sprayed easily and evenly. And so quickly, too!

My sil & I have both tried the Banana Boat & although it smells good & protects well, both of us have had problems with it not spraying well.

Are these actual areosol sprays?

I'm not sure if mine is Banana Boat or Coppertone, but yes it is aerosol and I love it! I have the kid version for Natalie and it's soooo much easier than doing the greasy lotions. We've used it twice now when she could have really gotten burned and didn't, so it must have worked.

I guess they are. You push the button once and they spray until you stop pushing the button. It isn't a pump style button on top. I love it and won't go back to the regular type anytime soon! My kids won't let me! And it makes it so much better when reapplying because it only takes a few seconds rather than minutes!

We took ours to the beach last year in June, and trust me, my hubby would have burned if it didn't work, and he didn't, so it did! We've used it at the pool, at the lake, at many "hot spots" and we've never had any problems with it.

Love it! We use it daily here and I wish I could buy it in bulk :)
