Up early to go to church, since it was my choir's turn to sing, went out to Arby's for lunch, had a treat at Coldstone Creamery for a mid-afternoon snack (although, they give you so much ice cream, that it's almost a meal!). Then the kids and I went to see Hoot at the local theater. We didn't get treats, since that was right after Coldstone! LOL! Although, everyone around us had popcorn and it smelled so good!

I had a good day. For 3 of us, it was our first trip to Coldstone. It's only been there a few months. A nice treat, but we won't be going there too often! Yikes! Yummy, but almost too much ice cream! I had a strawberry blonde mixture - strawberries, graham crackers, caramel sauce and whipped cream, with strawberry ice cream. Strawberries and caramel are my 2 favorites to have with ice cream!

We enjoyed the movie, too!

I have heard that Coldstone makes good ice cream, we don't have one anywhere near us. Sounds like you had a very nice day.

I know that your trip to SD is coming up & I just read in the paper that someone in the Black Hills has applied to have a Kangaroo farm. I know it won't be there in time for you to see, I just thought it was interesting.

A kangaroo farm? That would be interesting. We are down to under 4 weeks to vacation now! LOL! By this time in 4 weeks, we should be in Rapid City and already seen the badlands and Wall Drug! It's coming up so fast now!
