Walkathon tips

Dd is doing a walkathon this weekend. Any tips on what she should bring with her? I figure on sunscreen, a hat, light snacks, water, cell phone, any other ideas? Any snack ideas? I was going to give her stuff like dried fruit, luna bars, nuts..

How far is she walking? When we do 5km walks, we just take water bottles with us. That takes an hour, and we grab a snack when we get back.
I take part in the Weekend to End Breast Cancer, and those walkers walk 35km the first day, and 25 the second. They have pit stops every 5km, where they are offered snacks and water/gatorade. It's important to alternate between the 2 drinks to keep electrolytes in balance. The snacks they get are things like bananas, orange slices, bagels with pb, cookies, oatmeal to go bars and trail mix.
