Here in NE PA:) The sun is shining, its 70 degrees. Hasn't been like this in a long while! I am doing laundry and hanging them on the line. I just love this time of year:)

My sheets are all out too. It is so nice to finally have a spring. It's been years since we've had a nice one. I just got back from the nursery so I can start my containers.

Sunny and 67 by my house. At school, before the kindergarteners and first graders go to lunch, they call a weather number on the phone. If that level is below 65, then the kindies and first graders can't take off their jackets. The thing is, this temp is not taken AT our school and things can warm up fast, at noon. Like I think it's going to be cold and when we actually go outside, it's not as cold as I thought.

So, today, it was 59, when they called, so we had to make them keep their jackets on, even though the adults had theirs off and the kids were begging to have theirs off.

I wish those of us who ARE outside, could use our best judgment. I don't think they needed jackets and I think it was warmer tha 59, when we actually went outside. I wish we had a thermometer outside on the playground. I think it would be a lot more accurate. Cause, on the phone, how often do they update that temp?

We did let one girl take off her jacket, because she had on a HEAVY winter jacket. She doesn't seem to own a lighter jacket. I think they could have all been able to take off their jackets. On that playground, we have a row of trees on the western border that really protects us from the wind.

Okay, off my soapbox. Anyway, at 1:23 pm, it was 67 on my house thermometer. We were out with kindies around noon.

I would love for it to be 70....Well it was 70 when I got up at 6:30 this morning. The high is 90 here.. Way too hot and humid for this time of year. But what else can you expect from Texas weather....
Enjoy your weather while it lasts..

Tara, we are between 5 and 10 degrees above our average highs for this time of the year as well.....we hit a record of 92 nearby a few weeks ago.

And, we went over 2 months with no rain, and now it seems to be raining every day.......Great for the grass and the gardens, but not so great for Jazz Fest this weekend....

Hope everyone is able to enjoy this weather. I am going to the beach tomorrow to look for driftwood for my garden and get seaweed for fertilizer, it is supposed to hit 80.
