A Mother's Day Idea

I just wanted to recommend this book as a gift for any friends or relatives you might have that you need to buy for. My DH put this book in my Easter basket and it is HYSTERICAL! I'm buying one for a few of my friends for Mom's Day.

Chicken Soup for the Soul Cartoons for Moms, around $10. It's all cartoons, so it's just fun reading at your leisure. DH and I have laughed and laughed over this book!! It's broken down into sections of New Baby, Toddlerhood, Childcare and Babysitting, 24/7, World of Parenting, Married with Children, Teen Years, Proud Parents, & Creative Parenting.

This is a real laugh and would make a great gift...even for yourself! Just thought I would share with everyone.

Thanks for review. I always love to hear about a new book someone has recv'd! I will check it out the next time I am at my book store. I have a friend I could get it for.

We will probably take our Mom's to lunch or dinner. Beyond that I am not sure what I will get for them. I thought about getting my Mom some flowers and a Dillard's shopping card (so she can get some makeup, perfume and/or clothing). Probably do something similar for my mil...

I always love the Chicken Soup books and a cartoon one sounds like a fun one to have around and pick up when you need a laugh or two. Thanks for the idea. I'll be sure to pass it on to my DH as a good Mother's Day present!:)

I have been looking for something to get my mom and my MIL. I'll have to go and look for that. Of course, I'll get them something else, I just needed more ideas.
