I have a dilema of sorts. We aren't moving after all so we have decided to make some needed changes to our current home. I need advice on exterior paint colors. It would be a no brainer for me to choose but my house has a blue/black roof, so it seems to really limit the color options. As of now it is a beige color with blue trim, pretty outdated and icky..LOL
Any color advice, links to pic of houses with blue roofs etc..would really be appreciated!

We have a 'nantucket blue' house with white trim and 'plum' doors. My dad and husband (I picked the colors) thought I was crazy but after all the work it looks really good.

Only let down is we have a white roof that only after 10 years is fading to black, I would love a new blue/black roof but it will be costly.

What is the trim of your windows?

Ours is tan (like chocolate milk) with white trim, black shutters and a red door. I am going to paint my porch floor black too. We have a slate roof so it's dark gray.

I'd go with a pale grey with white and/or black trim with blue accents like the front door, large planters, mailbox, etc. I've looked around this area and can't find a blue roof anywhere around here.

I actually thought those colors might go exceptionally well. I seen a paint card at Home Depot with a house decorated in gray, white, black and it looked really pretty. I tell ya no one in their right mind has a blue roof! LOL I can't wait until it leaks..LOL
