Is there anyway to remove pen marks from wood furniture without ruining the finish? I just noticed my ds wrote all over the side of his bookcase. URGGGGGGGGGGG!

Have you tried the MrClean Magic Eraser??

By Melanie on Thursday, April 20, 2006 - 11:50 am:

Try Goo Gone, too.

Mr. Clean Magic Eraser will work. It just took pen and Sharpie off of my wooden baker's rack and did no harm.

I tried the MrClean eraser and it worked! It took off a little of the finish, but I have a repair kit that I purchased when we bought the furniture. I used that and it looks like new. Ds is very lucky someone invented those erasers!
