We had him two nights. He already did't poop in his crate last night. He is pooping on his walks. He doesn't bite and he hasn't barked once.
He loves to go for walks. He still gets tired fast. Everyone seems to love him and is trying to help with him. It is a joy to see him with the four year old . They chase each other. I love to see the 10 year old walking him and training him and taking care of him.
Even grumpy John Senior is training him.
I am exhausted though. I really didn't need another thing to do. But I am in love with the shih tzu and I always wanted one.
now I have to learned how to spell it. I am not to smart in alot of things!
AWW!!! What did you name him?? New puppies are so adorable!! Thats awesome that he is doing so well right off the bat! 
The boys named him Mari after Mario (the game)
My husband isn't on board yet. But my son is doing good.
I can't take care of the dog all by myself. I would say the dog is doing pretty good. He pooped in his cage yesterday.
They didn't take him for his 3pm walk.

If he's old enough - when we got a puppy we were told run don't walk to puppy kindergarten. Great for the kids - classes are really for the humans not the dog. Builds confidence in the kids and helps the puppy to know what to expect consistently from everyone.

We went when we lived in NYC - it was through the Long Island/Nassau County Dog Handler's Association (AKC training) in Baldwin, NY.
Class was great.

Mari is four months old.
John senior is bossing us all around including the dog.
He seems easy to train. He is little so he can't pull the lease. We are definitely the leaders of the pack.
He had one poop accident yesterday on the floor. He missed the wee wee pad.
He is allowed in two rooms of the house when we are in them and they are covered with wee wee pads for now.
He isn't pooping in the crate! He had one accident yesterday when he missed his 3pm poop walk.
He is the cutest lovable dog. They were trained to just be companions for Chinese Royalty.
He pooped on a wee wee pad and he was jumping up and kissing me for like five minutes in my face.
He is a bundle of love.
Linda you have a new job. Watching the dog when we go on vacation. We have to get you a key!
The puppy classes sounds like great fun for John so I think we will do it. Thanks.
He is alot of work!
He is the poop machine. He gets a bath every week for pooping in his cage.
Just trying to tell people how much work a dog is
Walk 6 times a day.... Train.... 1 hour a day.
The dog like to steal the four year olds food.
Cats are much easier.
