WOW - Great Ideas Feona! I think the top ones - Support groups & Friends and then the Talk about problems are all things that we can do together here on Momsview message boards. At least that is what I'm hoping for. I've been looking through the old posts and getting some great ideas from some of the older members too. I'm REALLY hoping some of those members will check back in and get active again...that would be a great help!

Hi,
Mommy3girls, glad you're here. I enjoy de-stressing with anything creative - drawing, music, cooking. I also love to read. Of course there's whatever TV obsession is the show du jour. I've gone through CSI (all of them), 24, NCIS, Numbers, The Closer....

Oh Feona - You are so *lucky* I live in such a rural area that I would have to drive over an hour to get to anything like that :( I promised my girls that I would buy some bead necklace sets for us to do ourselves once I get to the city & find a craft store.....but I made that promise over 3 months ago! SOMEDAY! I did actually get out & make a snowman with my youngest yesterday! And he is AMAZING! :)

Yes, we are lucky. I was born in Queens new york. While the boros are too busy for me. I like being near a major city.

My youngest is VERY crafty. We do alot of cards & drawings together...and those Bendaroos things are very cool! :) LOL

Mommy 3,
Just read your earlier post about the beads. You don't have to do the arts and crafts store. I love buying beads from Annie's Beads on line. Its like a candy store for great elegant beads. I've made jewelry, used them on quilts - all sorts of fun places. I live in a remote area also and getting their packages are like tiny presents. I've also gotten some beautiful swarovski crystal beads on ebay and other online places - beautiful but inexpensive & stylish.

Linda - do you know if they have the tools too? I was hoping to buy those whole kit sets. I need the boards, crimpers, pinchers, cutters, etc. Times 4!

It's not gonna be cheap I'm sure. I should probably look on ebay - once I start on that site though - I'm lost for HOURS...and usually HUNDREDS!!!

I make snowflake picture frame from PLASTIC CANVAS. I give them as Xmas gifts every year. We cant make snow angels where we live, its just toooo warm. When I was little I lived in Va and I do remember making snow angels. When we were stationed in Va in the 80's our DSD maded them. What fun they had. Now all they can make are SAND CASTLES at the beach...Can't have everything and live in SUNNY FL.

Are you rubbing that in??? :) I would LOVE to be making sand castles right now!!!! :)
