(sigh) My ds has just informed me that this year he wants to go as the Transformer character of Bumblebee. This will be a tricky costume to make. I hope he likes the end result. My other ds wants to go as a ladybug, same as last year. That's fine with me!

Well, I'm off to look for inspiration...

Hope your little Transformer enjoyed Halloween!

We were "driven" to be a race car driver. Not just a pre-packaged NASCAR look alike..... but "a real race car uniform mommmy". I did not like the sound of this because it was costly and/or a lot of work, but I figured we'd pray and see what happens next....

Unbelievable how God honors the small prayers of children. We have a trading shop near us run by a church - you leave anything and take anything - no fee. I went with a friend to give moral support - doesn't someone leave a "real" racing helmet - it was even the color he wanted - red!

He loved his costume. Thank you to whoever thought this helmet should be donated instead of sold on ebay!!!!

Wow! I'm so glad it worked out for your little race car driver.

My son had a hard time walking in his costume, but he was all smiles. He did take it off as soon as he got home from trick-or-treating, though. lol
