Thanks for mentioning those blaster shooter nerf type things.

I mentioned it to my sister in law when she asked what the kids want.

All the kids got it. The three year and and the nine year old and the ten year old cousin.

I think it was their favorite presents. I wouldn't have thought of it if you had not mentioned it.

Oldest son got 10yr old the pistol dart-tag (he didn't like the bigger one) and ltp (little tiny person) who's 3yrs old (I think we were preggie at the same time !) wants an arsenal like his older brother ..... those bullets/darts/whatever you call them are ALWAYS disappering, and DOGGONE it if they aren't expensive !!!!!!! I once saw some on ebay that someone had crafted himself out of some foam type tubing, but I'm not THAT crafty, although I probably could figure it out if I knew where to find tiny suction cups or velcro tips (in the case of the dart-tag guns) .... I think it's the 10yr old's goal to have EVERY nerf gun .... he also likes a few of the generic ones, I think Kmart has a machine gun one (good grief !)

Glad yours are enjoying them too !!!! Can't have too many nerf families, right ?

Those are always a hit with my son and his friends. They are like water guns, they aren't much fun if you are the only one who has one (because everyone gets aggravated when you shoot them) but get them all one and they have a blast! We always loose the bullets after a while and I'm not too good at replacing them.

I'm not good at replacing them either, but then again, I didn't lose them .. in my opinion, if they need replaced (because somebody left them out in the yard for eons, or on the floor for the new puppy to destroy) then that person can shell out the $8.99 out of saved allowance !!!!

However ..... if it's the youngest munchkin (he's 3) who destroyed them (he likes to separate the foam part form the suction cup) then I feel responsible for replacing !

Thanks for reminding me that replacements and duplicates are always necessary. Definitely need to check Christmas clearance before all are gone. Also the little boy across the street needs a birthday present. Nerf is the answer. I still can't believe I buy things you can shoot etc. I have 3 boys and have lived with all males for decades but sometimes I still can't believe all the "maleness" that surrounds me.

somebody just told me that she found nerf bullets/darts/whatever at the dollar store .... I need to check out that dollar store ! Those things are EXPENSIVE !!!

Would still like to try my hand at making them myself, you know, in my "spare time" you know !
