Today is a rainy day and to me that means fun with baking! LOL I'm going to make cookies galore. I have no idea what i'll do with them but they are fun to make. Do you have any recipes you just love? I'm starting out by making sugar cookies the kids can decorate later, peanut butter cookies and a batch or two of kolachkis (it's a czech walnut pastry that is to die for!).

I wish I would have thought to do cookies this weekend. We have had negative temps all weekend (-21 this morning) and school was closed today because of them, my kids are going stir crazy.

Brrr, Emily! We bought lifesavers to make the stained glass cookies and kisses to make the peanut butter cookies. Maybe Sarah will make some dough this afternoon.

LOL Emily. That was part of my reason for making cookies. I made a batch of cut out sugar cookies and made some frosting for them to decorate when Kaitlyn got home from school. My kitchen is trashed but I got all my baking done! LOL

We're doing our sugar cut-out cookies next weekend, and our gingerbread house hopefully later this week once Nat is feeling better. I LOVE to bake at the holidays!

I made pecan chocolate chip cookies and almond crescents. We'll be decorating a gingerbread house this weekend. I love to bake during the holidays also.
