We are in the middle of digging out of a massive ice storm that hit Mass and NH. I never lost power (thank God), but we lost cable, internet and phone. There are trees and wires down everywhere and they are saying if you lost power it could be a week before it comes back on. Hope others in this area made it through ok. It wasn't supposed to come this far east so I was surprised when I woke up this morning.

I'm glad things are ok for you guys! I saw this on the news, and was reminded of last year's ice storm in the midwest... it was right around this time last December, and was absolutely awful! Keep us updated, and hang in there!

I just looked at the Worcester Gazette....wow...I always hated ice storms. My sis and bil live south of Boston and have only had rain.
Stay safe and hopefully the power will be back on soon for those without it.

we are fine. It's actually very pretty out, but that's because I am warm and have all of my convienences. Dh's aunt just called me, there are still lines down all over where she lives and she has no water either. I think she is staying w/us until her power comes back on. We still have lines down at the end of my street and dh is getting ready to go fire up the chain saw to take care of the trees we lost and to help my neighbors out.
