We are in the middle of our first big home improvement project. It is a long time coming believe me! Our livingroom was tiny and there was a wall with a doorway separating it from a small dining room. We knocked that down to have a larger room and are putting in wood flooring after tearing up some hideous carpet!! It makes me nervous to do this so close to Christmas but it should be done by the end of the week. Dh is doing most of it. My dad is an electrician so he is handling the outlets and lightswitches, etc. I'm really excited!
