Fisher Price Kid Tough DVD?

Moms View Message Board: General Discussion: Fisher Price Kid Tough DVD?

Does anyone own one of these? They are around $149.99 and I wanted to know if they are worth the money? It seems like alot to spend, but if they are as durable as the ad claims, then it may be worth the money. Any info would be helpful. TIA Brooke

Bump,

I've never found any 'kid' electronics to be any good. The Fisher Price digital camera is HORRIBLE. I wouldn't hold out much hope for a DVD player. How old are your kids? We gave my DD at age six a real DVD player for the car and she held it on her lap and has used it in bed and such and she was very careful. I'd get a real one and teach your kids to be careful. You can also get them cheaper than $149 that way!

I thought the camera was okay. Does it take great pictures to print out, no, but it does entertain my kids.
My kids also have the Fp3 player and enjoy it alot, although when we bought it Windows Vista wasn't out and the one we have isn't compatible with Vista. So that just means a trip to my parents to upload any more music.
I think that IF my kids didn't already have a DVD player for the car and the car was the only place they were using it I would just buy a regular DVD player. Just because you can get them cheaper than the Fisher Price one.
So far both items i talked about above have proven to be very durable. My ds tested that theory the day he got the camera becuase he had seen the commercials. LOL

Wow, I just looked this up at Amazon...the screen is SUPER SMALL. You can buy a real portable dvd player with a MUCH larger screen for half the price.
