to my dh and me. We've been married 7 years now. Is it terrible that we have no plans?

Happy Anniversary! I wouldn't worry about plans, can't tell you how many anniversaries I spent at walmart lol. Oh well, at least it was without kids in tow. :)

Happy Anniversary. We never have plans. The past two years we've been canoeing with friends and they had to remind us it was our anniversary.

Happy anniversary !!! Just snuggle a little closer and reminense about your wedding day...when you first met...how you felt when he first kissed you...your favorite memories up to this point...I have a feeling that you two will find a way to celebrate !! KMIM ;)

You are supposed to make plans?? DH and I are pushing 18 years married, 20 years together, and we might have "celebrated" our anniversary 3 times. I am not a gifts person and if we go out we always drag the kids along. LOL We are just pretty much lame. Ha ha

I hope you two found something to get into... Happy late anniversary...

Happy Anniversary! We don't always do anything special.

One year, I got a card from my grandma:

It's your anniversary! Go ahead and splurge!

Rent two videos!

I just roared, on the porch, where I sat reading the mail.

Well, we managed to go out to dinner. Dh worked late and called and said, "Be ready when I get home, we're going out." So I put dinner away and off we went, with the boys in tow.

Well, we went to El Torito Grill, which is a chain of the restaurant we went to when we got engaged. He proposed after dinner. (Squeals!)

The boys were on their absolute worst behavior, both boys wanted to sit next to Mommy, they didn't want to be near Daddy, they both grabbed my food off my plate before the waiter even had a chance to set it down, they screamed, they yelled, they wouldn't talk to Daddy because he did something and he "wasn't my friend anymore!", one stood up on the highchair, the other kept crawling under the table. At one point, my dh and I looked at each other, laughed, and said, "Happy Anniversary, honey." At which point both boys got mad at us because they thought we were laughing at them, and they declared they weren't going to play any games with us anymore, they would only play with each other, so there! LOL

Oh, it was fun!

Sounds like an experience! LOL! They really are little such a short time, though. Soon, times like this will just be a memory!

Dawns right, experiences like those are fleeting. I have two 11 year olds, a 16 year old and an 18 year old. When they were younger, I ate a lot of my meals cold or reheated. Now I actually get a hot meal and I am one of the first ones done. Seemed like forever while I was living in it but looking back all that "drama" was just a blip in my life.. I wouldn't trade one temper tantrum, or one mouthy moment.
