Living in FL we are well on our way to summer only clothes. I have several Florida winter clothes that I would like to sell but wasn't sure if there were still enough cold days up north to warrant anyone purchasing them at this late time of the year. It's just sweat shirts and jeans, that type of stuff. Maybe a couple windbreakers. And some footie jammies.

So, for those living up north, are you still wearing that type of clothing?

And do any of you do craigslist? I was wondering if you are allowed to post in a state other than your own and add shipping for interested buyers. Cause I'm sure no one in FL is interested in winter now.

We were wearing summer clothes a week and a half ago, and were back into winter clothes for the past week. It should be warmer this week...hopefully. At this time of year, it's really up and down for us in Ontario.
I have checked out craigslist, but have never purchased anything. I have used ebay, though, and you can ship anywhere you want on ebay.

Same here in CT. We had summer weather last week, but it got cold again. You never know this time of year, but yes, we're still wearing jeans, long sleeves and jackets.

I've never used craigslist, so I'm no help there.

Saturday was cold. Sunday was gorgeous. It's still very up and down for us, too. Even in the summer, in WI, if you are out in the evening for something, you probably need a sweatshirt. I've watched plenty of fireworks on the beach, next to Lake Michigan, that I've been wearing long pants, a sweatshirt, and still been wrapped in a blanket! I think there's only been one year that it was warm enough, at 9:30pm, that we didn't need to be bundled up.

I don't have the answer for craigslist.

Sounds like it wouldn't be worth the effort to try to sell them then. Unless someone has totally out grown their winter stuff and just need something to carry them thru the next few weeks. Hmmm.

I think you may be better off using Ebay! Most people use Craigslist, IMO, so they have the opportunity to go and look at the items they are interested in. With Ebay, you just list it and ship it!

Dana living in Cinci, I found that we wore jeans year round, it still gets cool in the evenings. Family who visited in july even brought light sweaters because it would get 50 at night. I would ebay them.
