Freezing leftovers question

Moms View Message Board: General Discussion: Archive March 2008: Freezing leftovers question
By Reds9298 on Monday, March 3, 2008 - 07:27 pm:

I heated up some Lloyd's BBQ in the crock pot for supper today and made way too much. (DH and Nat are under the weather and really didn't have much of an appetite.) There's quite a bit left and I don't think we'll eat it for leftovers anytime this week. Can I freeze it for another meal sometime?

(It's beef.) Thanks!

I would think you could freeze that. Hope DH and Nat are feeling better soon.

You can certainly freeze it. Freeze it in one person meal-size containers, so you or someone else can re-heat it in the microwave for one person's meal.
