We have a one-day cold snap today. At least it won't snow today. It's -9 with a windchill of -31. I'm glad it's only one day! Once we are done with church, we are just staying home.

It's my choir's turn to sing today and we barely have enough people as it is, so I always go. It's also our current pastor's last Sunday, after being with us for 4-1/2 years, so we need to seek a new pastor now. Since it's Pastor Rod's last Sunday, we are having a special lunch, too. So, there's just no skipping church today.

We have plenty of leftovers in the fridge, so we don't have to go out to eat. Once church is over, I'll only have to go outside with Jasmine.

It has been windy and cold and snowing all morning long. There's a lot of blowing snow, and I can't tell what is blowing and what is coming down from the sky, but this a.m. I could not even see the house across the street from us. We are supposed to get 2-4 inches today. I decided that we did not really HAVE to trek outside in this nastiness to go to church, so we stayed home. My brother in law called to tell us that a tree had fallen and is blocking the road we usually take to go to church anyway, so I'm glad we decided to stay home. Kids and dh just went out to the store to pick up something. I decided to stay where it was warm.

We have warmed up to 1! LOL! Such a heat wave. It's COLD out with the wind. -20 windchill. Weather Underground says -3, but both of thermometers were just a smidge above zero.
