Peanut Butter Icing...

Moms View Message Board: General Discussion: Archive June 2004: Peanut Butter Icing...
By Marg on Saturday, June 12, 2004 - 12:52 pm:

Anyone have an easy recipe for this. Tried it years ago, should have asked for the recipe.

Tried many recipes, no luck.

This was not a fluffy frosting.

Any recipes would help.

TIA

May I ask what is "icing sugar?"

By Tink on Saturday, June 12, 2004 - 05:12 pm:

powdered or confectioners' sugar, I think

By Children03 on Saturday, June 12, 2004 - 09:59 pm:

Marg, it is confectioner's sugar (icing sugar is the British name for it)-

What is beetroot cake? Would this icing be good on chocolate cake? :)

By Jessicac1979 on Saturday, June 12, 2004 - 10:51 pm:

i love that kind of icing my grandma makes it on a choc. cake OMG soooooooo good!

By Children03 on Saturday, June 12, 2004 - 10:58 pm:

It is a cake which has beet root in it. I haven't tried it, I would use chocolate. That Beetroot cake was the one used on the icing recipe, but I didn't make it. I don't know but it is suppose to taste like chocolate.
