Dh was coming home from work last night and he said that he decided to take side streets home. ( which he dont do to often) he said he came around the corner getting ready to turn when a cop came flying from behind him and turned the same direction hubby was going he said he noticed a guy outside of his house standing in the middle of his yard. Dh said he could see 4 more cop cars coming from every direction he said about the time the first cop car stopped and got out he said he heard a gun shot and the guy shot himself standing in the yard. and Dh knew him just by him coming into the store. I would of freaked out but dh said all he seen was the guy falling down after the shot.and the gun being dropped and the cop running toward him. I thought maybe the cop shot him but in the paper today it says that he comited suicide. A few weeks ago the same guy baracded himself in his place of buisness and the cops talked him out of it then. I think he needed some help and he didnt get it another over looked person.

and then ds called me this morning crying . She said that she was on here way to my house to take her standard poddle to the vet. ( she lives about 2 hours away and the vets are so expensive around her place so they come here) She said she woke up to lucy looking at her and she was missing an eye so my sister and bil freaked out and didn't know what to do. 2 weeks pryor to this lucy had an eye infection it was treated and they thought she was over it but the vet said that she ruptured her eye so she had to have emergency surgery the removed her eye filled her for up antibiotics and pain killer she is doing really good ds took her home this afternoon and ds was stressed that she was going to have a huge vet bill that she couldn't afford right now. but she got lucy and the vet told her it was 75.00 and my sister had to keep asking if they were sure. She had called the vets closer to her and they said it was going to be at least 1000.00 to take care of her. I love the vet we use he is wonderfull. He told us one time that he isn't in it for the money. he was in it to take care of the animals.
so thats been my last 24 hours.

Jesh, I hope that is it for your family... How terrible on both accounts. I couldn't imagine dealing with or seeing either situation... That poor guy, apparently he didn't get the services he needed... And Lucy, OUCH!!!

I'm not sure if we are coming through your part of OK or not but if we are maybe we can meet some where so your dd and my dd can finally meet. We got your dd's last letter but things here have been so crazy. We will try to get one out to your dd this week.

Lucy is going real good. The vet told my sister that he thought she had limited vison in that eye so she wont have to adjust not being able to see out of it. but she runs and still catchs a ball. My sister said she just has to get use to seeing her without her eye. But all is all the last few days have been really good. Hubby isn't at all bothered by what he seen he said though he really wasn't paying to much attention to the guy he was paying more attention not to get in the way of the cops
