My sister's best friend had a mammogram on Friday.
They found a lump. She goes back tomorrow for another mammogram. She is in her 30's with twin girls who are 6 yrs old.
Please say a prayer that this lump is nothing horrible and that she is fine. This poor girl, you name it, she's had it or it's happened to her. She has the worst of luck. Please pray that her luck has changed and that she is healthy! Her name is Alison.

She went back this morning. I guess they are going to do a biopsy.
They gave her two options

1. get it biopsied now

2. wait six months and see what happens.

now, who in their right mind would just wait six months? If it is cancerous, who knows how bad it could be in six months?

needless to say, she chose option 1

Oh, I sure understand not waiting. I had a lump in my breast that turned out to be a cyst, which I had removed because it hurt. And I was really glad to be treated by a doctor who specialized in breast issues and told me, up front, that no matter what it turned out to be there were lots of options.

Prayers for your friend! I went through this several years ago. I had two lumps removed, and thank goodness they were benign.
