I knew if I left it long enough he'd figure it out on his own! I'm kidding kind of sort of.

Matthew will be 3 in March so it is time, but there has just been so much going on these past few months, moving, surgery, Christmas, recovery, sickness, sore fingers you name it!

Last Friday we had a play date with a little girl named Grace, she's 2-1/2. Grace had to go potty so her Mom took her to the bathroom. Matthew was curious and followed. I asked Matthew to come away as Grace was going potty on the toilet and needed some privacy.

Since then he has come up to me twice and asked to sit on the potty. Tonight he actually peed. Yeah!!!!

Girls I just need to stay healthy so we can keep up the momentum that has been started. Send us some good vibes!

OH, I hope it goes as smoothly as training my Randy did. Two weeks before he turned three he said, "I want to wear underwear." He was day and night trained in two days!!! He was ready and we hadn't pushed him at all (Robin was a BEAR to train--major power struggles). I swear he was SO easy. Good luck to both of you!

Heaventree, it went the same way with my son. Honestly, sometimes I think that if we simply got out of our kids way sometimes they'd get a lot of thses things a whole lot faster!

Well it's not a fluke, he's peed in the potty 3 times this morning and each time he has asked me if he can sit on the potty. I'm so happy! I was so dreading this whole thing and now it's happening so easily. I'm going to keep my fingers crossed that this continues.

Oh, that is awesome!! Isn't it funny how they want to be like other kids? LOL My daughter was the same. Although, she was a late bloomer and was 3 1/2 when she finally "decided" to be trained. LOL
