First Report Card

Moms View Message Board: Parenting Discussion: First Report Card

I had Kaitlyn's parent/teacher conference on Tuesday and got her first report card. I was told what I have always known, she's a smarty pants. LOL She is doing excellent at school, she is on target with everything. Her teacher said she is actually at a first grade reading level and she was the only student at the beginning of the school year that could count to 100. I am thrilled. Hard works pays off! Last night she read the whole book "Go, Dog. Go!" that comes in the Dr. Seuss series. Her teacher also said she is extremely helpful at school and very friendly and cooperative with all her classmates. I told her I wish it carried over at home and she laughed. She has a 5 year old too so she knows exactly what i'm talking about. ;)

I just had to share that bragging moment. I hope I get to do this for a very long time and she doesn't reach a point where she doesn't like school anymore.

Good for you! You must be doing something right! Congrats on the good comments from the teacher. It's always so nice when a teacher tells you such good things about your kids. :)

And good for her too!

Good for you and her! You must have worked hard with her, before she went to school!
