Savory Venison Meatloaf

Moms View Message Board: Cooking and Recipe Discussion: Pork, Ham, Lamb, Other Meats: Savory Venison Meatloaf
By Jujubee on Wednesday, August 19, 2009 - 12:15 pm:

1-1½ pounds venison
2 cups bread crumbs
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 tbsp garlic powder (you can use less.. I like garlic)
1 small onion finely chopped
2 Eggs
Salt & Pepper to taste
1 package brown gravy mix

In a bowl combine soup, garlic powder, eggs, onion, salt & pepper. Add bread crumbs and venison, mix well. I find your hands work best for that, put into your meatloaf pan and bake at 400° for one hour (or until done). Prepare the gravy according to package directions and serve over meatloaf.

Sidenotes: I made this for dinner last night. My family was not too sure about it, till they tasted it. Some of my cooking experiments aren't so successful <_< This one turned out great though, everyone went back for seconds. Including me!
