My dh was watching a tv program and saw fish tacos with a salsa blanco that was made with yogurt. He wants to try the dish and I'm willing to make it, but I can't find a recipe for salsa blanco that uses yogurt instead of mayo and sour cream so I'm hoping someone here has the recipe. Also, if anyone has a great recipe for fish tacos I'd love to have that as well. TIA

It was on the Food Network, but it was on the show Unwrapped so the website isn't any help. I ended up finding a couple of recipes in searches using the term "yogurt salsa", but I have no idea if either recipe I found is the real deal.

Why not just give the recipes you have a try, he hasn't tasted what he saw on TV so he will never know the difference..

LOL, you are right, Bobbie. I had planned on giving one of them a try, but I hadn't thought about the fact that he's never tasted salsa blanco so he won't know the difference. Also, I'll recheck the website. I didn't see the recipes you found. I think I only searched for salsa blanco on there and not for yogurt salsa.
