My name is Jacqueline. I am a mother of two wonderful boys, ages 7 & 8. I just got remarried in March to my husband Nathan, after losing my first husband to a horrible car accident. My boys love Nathan dearly and he is wonderful to the boys and I. I have been a stay-at-home mom for many years now and it is hard to make adult friends while staying at home. I am a Mary Kay consultant and that is the only time that I get to have some girl time. My husband encourages me to get out of the house more, but it's hard to when you have been at home for so long. I hope to have some adult conversations soon

Oh, I do remember longing for adult conversations. My first was born in 1961, the second in 1966 and the third in 1967 - and this was when most moms were stay-at-home moms if there was any financial choice. I longed for the day when my conversation would be about someting more interesting than toilet training, and I could actually close the bathroom door during the day.
