Carolina Rustica is an 8-year old company that has has grown
through the years by offering an open and honest approach to selling
fine furniture, lighting, and kitchen accents. We are both a retail
store in Concord, NC and a website. We operate them together as one
business and serve customers all across the country. Our philosophy is
to be as open and transparent as possible to the customer. We want you
to know who we are and how we operate to increase your comfort level
in buying from us. We believe all websites should have complete
information on the company (and how to contact them) behind the
website.
Little History
For five years, we ran a successful retail furniture and gift
gallery in Charlotte, NC. Opened in 1996, Himal Home Gallery featured
one-of-a-kind rustic and provincial home furnishings from near and
far. The award-winning gallery presented a rich blend of hand-crafted
furniture, decorative and practical home items. Hand forged iron
furniture, such as canopy beds and sleigh beds, featured prominently
in our store, and soon became a best-selling line. In 1997, Himal Home
Gallery went online and presented an array of best-selling home accent
items to internet buyers. It quickly became apparent that the demand
for quality wrought-iron furniture was much greater than we
anticipated. Carolina Rustica was our response to this demand. In
2000, we relocated our Charlotte store and relaunched as Carolina
Rustica, and we have been growing nonstop ever since. Starting with
iron beds and furniture, we grew the business with fine suppliers like
Stone County Ironworks, Lexington Home Brands, Century Furniture, and
more. At the same time, we added complimentary lighting lines such as
Hubbardton Forge, Hinkley Lighting, Currey and Company, Fine Art
Lamps, Minka Lavery, and more. We now proudly represent over 75 lines
of furniture, upholstery, lighting, and ceiling fans. We have received
significant press coverage over the last few years with regards to our
small-business growth, our use of technology, and our blending of a
brick-and-mortar store with our web business.
Our Retail Store
Our store is located at the newly renovated Gibson Mill
located at 325 McGill Road in Concord, NC 28027. It is a 5,000 square
feet showroom which features many of our most popular products and
suppliers from our 70+ suppliers. We are sure you will enjoy the
ambience and friendly environment.
At Carolina Rustica, we realize that your satisfaction
completely depends on the fulfillment of your order in a manner that
makes you want to come back to us. Taking your order over the phone
and having it made is only one part of your order. Getting it to you
