Rick Tomita and Bill Scolnik have been involved in dogs (Boxers) over 30 years, ever since Rick bred his first litter. Probably because of "beginners luck" we made our first champion from that litter, Ch. Jacquet's Ronel Micah. Before that our "showdogs" turned out to be lovable pets-and I guess we all know about that.



Rick's kennel is a medium sized show kennel devoted to Boxers. He's produced 188 AKC Champions and over 300 Champions worldwide. We have over 25 obedience titleholders of which we are particularly proud, obedience being no easy feat with a Boxer. Rick has won the American Boxer Club "Breeder of the Year" award 17 times. He's produced 7 ABC Sires of Merit and 7 ABC Dams of Merit. It's been both exciting and rewarding. The present J-B Wholesale is an outgrowth of all this activity.



As a result of all the kennel activity we're frequently at shows and that gives us a chance to see what is new and exciting when it comes to showing and handling items. Of course, we have our house dogs too and we're always on the lookout for new toys, beds and that new special treat which gives the dogs (and us!) so much pleasure. We are constantly updating and adding new things that you have requested as well as items that we have found useful ourselves. We try to use as many of the items we sell as we can. That way we can learn the advantages and disadvantages of using one product vs. another. A lot of items simply don't make it into our catalog because we don't think they are good enough.



We try to bring you all of the things we you need whether you are a groomer, own a kennel, show or breed dogs, or just have a great dog living with you. We want you to be pleased with our product and performance. We look forward to hearing from you and helping with your problems and questions.
