Got together with DH's family tonight, for supper and bowling! LOL! It's been a coon's age, since I've been bowling. I surprised myself, by actually making it to 50! LOL! My body had totally forgotten how to bowl! By the 10th frame, I finally felt like I was doing it more correctly! LOL!

I think my R arm is going to be sore tomorrow! I was using a 14# ball, since I couldn't find anything smaller!

We are going to try to get together about once a month, just to stay connected with each other. We did have fun. Emily was depressed because she got lots of gutter balls. She was getting annoyed at people trying to give her constructive criticism. She said she felt under too much pressure. I told her we all just need to play more! Emily got a 39, so almost 40! Sarah got a 57 and Gary got 92.

We went bowling too. It was cold and snowing here. It seemed like a good idea. I hate bowling with rented shoes and an ally ball, but we all had fun.

I've only bowled with rented stuff! I've never had my own bowling ball! It would be nice to have my own ball, though.

We go bowling every now and then... Usually I watch and everyone else bowls.. It can prove to be a pretty good time and Dawn I think a regular family bowling night is a good idea...

Glad to hear you had fun! DD and I would be perfectly happy if we never go bowling again. DD now has stitches the length of her right pointer finger from dropping a bowling ball on it last weekend. The last time I went bowling I threw my back out. That's it, we're done! LOL!

Speaking of bowling, do they still have candle pin bowling anywhere? That's with the small balls with no holes and the straight pins. That's what I grew up with and prefer.

I used to LOVE bowling!!! It's difficult for me to do now with my joint/back issues, but on a good day, I'd definitely be up for it!!!! And BTW, I suck at it! LOL

Ds went to a bowling party yesterday. He got a 75 on the first game and 71 on the second game...but of course the bumpers were up .
He had tons of fun. We love going bowling although we don't go often at all.

Yesterday we also went to the Natural History Museum. We saw the planetarium show first and then walked thru the museum. At the end we saw the Dinosaur Named Sue

I actually found a bowling ball at a yard sale many years ago that was my exact size,with my name engraved on it ( Wanda) and I only gave one dollar for it !! No joke!! And it looks real good sitting on a shelf...in my closet ...day in and day out...collecting dust.LOL
