I have been searching like mad to find information on these dolls for my mom. She bought one yesterday at an antique shop. It is a compostion doll with cloth body, painted hair, and blue eyes that open and close. She thinks that it is from the 1930's. I am looking for somewhere that might tell me what this doll is worth for her. Can anyone help?

Sounds like a huggums doll - it may or may not be an older one - they have not changed them in forever - what does the neck say?

OMGosh, you have brought back memories for me! My grandmother used to have some of those dolls when *I* was a kid - I'm talking about 45 years ago! She wouldn't let us touch them, much less play with them!
