Yikes! We watched a Demo, at Target, for the Wii. If you are swinging it like a tennis racket, and the gizmo goes flying, it's going to hit someone, or something, HARD! Did they not think of that, when they were designing it? Or have people been playing HARD with them? LOL!

We have been playing with the remotes and haven't had any problems, but I do stress to the kids to HOLD TIGHT to the remote!

This has been a concern since the system came out. There is even a website devoted to it:
Wii have a problem.

If you play hard enough I imagine you might break a sweat and lose the remote too..LOL

My hubby is personally hoping it happens and gts the TV so he has an excuse to buy a new one! We currently have a large, but very old TV in our family. It is one my dad bought in 1990. But it works good so no reason to upgrade to a flat screen!

My mom told me about that. She said people were letting go of the remote while playing bowling and tennis. I can just imagine....
