Address for sending Christmas Cards to Iraq?

Moms View Message Board: General Discussion: Archive December 2006: Address for sending Christmas Cards to Iraq?
By Beth on Wednesday, December 13, 2006 - 03:46 pm:

I realize they probably won't get them now until later. But my son's cubscout troop is making cards and I thought it would be nice if they sent one to Iraq. Does anyone know an address, and how much it is to send a card? Thanks.

I have a good friend in Iraq right now. It only took about a week for him to get our card...I was so amazed!

It costs normal postage and, if you want it to go to Afghanistan, I can give you an address there. Mailing is going incredibly fast right now. I sent Scott a package on Dec 4th and it was there a week later. Normally, it takes 2 weeks. Convoys are going twice a week now.

There is a post further down about sending cards to Iraq through the Xerox company.

I saw that post. But I think those are like online post cards right? The kids are going to make there own cards. Heidi, if you could give me that address that would be great. Would it be to a specific person and then they distribute them? Let me know how it works. Thanks.
