and

Which would you pick? and
Can I use my existing pink gingham curtains with the first quilt?

Her room walls are the light green pictured.

I like the first one better and I think you could get away with her existing curtains, although gingham wouldn't be my choice. Don't you love Pottery Barn Kids???

By Annie2 on Monday, November 20, 2006 - 07:53 pm:

They are both very nice. But why are you asking us? Which one does Natalie want on her bed? A person's bedroom should reflect their personality and preferences. I would ask Natalie which one she likes the best. :)

Wow,they're both really nice.We all have quilts at our house for bedding.I think I like the first one better, its a little softer looking. The green walls will bring out the green in her quilt. If she plays in her room alot,I might go with the 2nd one,it seems more bright and fun.I don't think you could go wrong with buying either one, there both nice...decisions,decisions :)

I vote the first one and yes you can use gingham curtains. The quilt has a box or square theme so the gingham would be perfect with it. I do not like the stripes at all--just my opinion.
While I believe a child should have input on their room--a two year old isn't going to be thinking long term. If you asked, she might be more into a cartoon theme. The colors you have selected will certainly grow with her.

I love the first one!

Definitely the first one. I love the geometric look. And I think it would go great with her curtains! I really don't care much for the stripes, either. I think the green in the first one is what makes me like that one so much, too...

Annie- She's almost 2 1/2, so she doesn't get any say! LOL

The stripes are a bit plain for me, and I really like the other one. I don't want to buy new curtains though, since I'm spending so much on the quilt, so I wondered. I *thought* the gingham would look alright, but I'm not always too good at matching things that don't really "match", you know?

Pink Geometric Quilt

I think my kids would like this one! I think the pink gingham curtains would go with that.

Pink and Yellow Striped Quilt

I think I like the other one better, because it's brighter. They would both go with pink gingham curtains.

First one!

Another vote for the first one.

By Bellajoe on Tuesday, November 21, 2006 - 05:26 pm:

I like them both. I think the second one is pretty cool.
And the first one is pretty too. I don't think you can really go wrong with either.

What do her curtains look like? If they just have horizontal stripes, i would go for the striped quilt. If they are plain, i would go for the other one.

The geometric one is busy, so if there is stuff on her curtains, i would go for the more plain quilt.

By Reds9298 on Tuesday, November 21, 2006 - 07:18 pm:

Her curtains are basic pink and white gingham.
Thanks for all the suggestions ladies! I'm trying to decide if I want to wait for a sale/clearance, or if I just have to have it now! I love PBKids sooooooo much.
